Dynamics

rhythm, harmony, dynamics! All really important in music. Being able to cut the beats and then drop them, fade in and out, pause and play are really cool techniques to keep the motion of the music rolling.

I have 5 ways of controlling dynamics with my setup

• turning on and off loops with a pedal
• muting all loops with a pedal
• stop all loops, and on second press starts them all on the downbeat when I next press the pedal
• overdub with overdub feedback control to fade out a loop or enhance it
• a master loop volume pedal that gives me analog control over all playing loops
